Customer research is vital for getting to the heart of your market, but without the expertise to convert data into insights, the utility of your study can be lost. Design studio Oath got in touch recently for my assistance in turning their raw results into a punchy report for insurance company, AXA. A useful exercise in writing clear, succinct copy.

Cloud strategy and storage are challenging topics to make palatable for a wider audience. Through detailed briefings with the client and self-guided research, this series of blog posts manage just that, providing an introduction to the topic and a hook to draw listeners into the Cloud & Clear podcast.

June 2021

The years 2020 to 2022 were an exciting time to work for an events company. The Covid-19 pandemic turned the industry on its head, inspiring sector-wide adaptation and innovation. Live Group came out ahead of the pack with a fully developed virtual and hybrid offering - one which Airmic took full advantage of for Airmic Fest 2020.

November 2021

Ghost writing was a key component of my role at Live Group. Through working with our CEO, Toby Lewis, we developed a number of pieces around developments, strengths and weaknesses within the event industry at that time. The process involved interviewing Toby to gather his thoughts and insights, then drafting, editing and honing the copy into pithy insights for our audience. This was a useful exercise, helping me to develop interview technique and capturing, then preserving, the unique tone-of-voice of my subjects.

July 2020

In July 2020, no one knew just how long lockdown would last in the UK, nor the long-term effects the Covid-19 pandemic would have on the music industry. This piece, written for the London Economic, stands as a snapshot of thinking at the time from industry experts. the article required expert sourcing and interview techniques to compile. The result is a light, rounded take on the state of the music industry in the summer of 2020.

December 2018

SIMBA mattresses, and their associated PR agency Exposure PR, were my first major client as a Senior Creative Account Manager. This activation, in which SIMBA partnered with Cuckooz to open a range of boutique hotel rooms styled after the lines, shapes and ambience of the womb, was one of our more bizarre and successful activations.

May 2018

I am a keen gamer, and it is an area I aim to explore in my writing in the future. 2018's God of War reboot captured my interest over its 40-hour playtime, as a reinvention of the Playstation tentpole trilogy. The exercise was also useful in developing a longer-form review format.
